Intern – D&I Project Manager Role

This position will support the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) function within the Talent & Learning (T&L) organization of Human Resources by providing effective project support and management. Project manage assigned programs within the D&I portfolio. Support program design and implementation administration. Research and leverage data and identify insights to help enhance and evolve the impact and effectiveness of D&I programs, with a focus on supporting an inclusive and barrier free workplace. The D&I Project Manager will report to the Senior Director, Diversity & Inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with the execution and ongoing maintenance of D&I projects and programs, which include but are not limited to training, communications and the integration of D&I into people and business processes.
  • Supports D&I strategy, program and measurement design re: research, trend analysis, communications, KPIs, and reporting ensuring high quality and on time delivery.
  • Works collaboratively with key stakeholders and internal customers to define their needs and develop creative solutions to address their requirements.

Experience & Education

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an exposure to courses in business, human resources, organizational development, project management and/or change management.
  • Familiarity with diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity concepts. Employment or volunteer experience relating to D&I work a plus.

  • Strong learning, helping and teaching motivation.
  • Strong technical project management skills and experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to conduct research, analyze trends, best practices, and data to influence decisions.
  • Strong presentation, communication and writing skills.
  • Strong implementation skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment maintaining flexibility through changing priorities, demanding timelines and uncertainty.
  • Ability to work proactively and autonomously.
  • Strong software and computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Experience with Visier and Remesh a plus.
