Job Description
Orbita is looking for a motivated engineering intern who is excited about machine learning and healthcare! The intern will gain real-world experience building production-ready applications that solve relevant and challenging problems in conversational AI.
The ideal candidate has broad exposure to modern software development practices and experience or interest in machine learning, natural language processing, and/or healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Work with a mentor and Engineering team to develop innovative solutions and/or product features with a focus on machine learning and NLP
- Conduct research as needed to solve problems related to data processing, modeling, and modeling output consumption
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to develop high-level software design and tactical project plan(s)
- Contribute to new features, make product recommendations, and help make the Orbita platform one that healthcare and life sciences practitioners love to use
Requirements
- Pursuing a BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field
- Skilled in programming in Python, C++, and/or JavaScript
- Experience working on collaborative programming projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong technical communication skills
- Excited to learn!
