Junior Interior Designer

We are an investment real estate company with homes in over 30 markets. We update & renovate homes to an elevated aesthetic. We’re looking for a junior interior designer to join our team of talented, innovate and agile designers and pod managers.
Requirements:
Someone with at least two years of experience in interior design, space planning & FFE selection who will become an integral part of our team and assist our senior designers and pod managers.
Project management experience a bonus.
Exposure to all aspects of home design from concept through punch list.
Coordinate all construction and design projects on time and on budget.
Strong proficiency in SketchUp
Ability to envision and plan multiple home renovations simultaneously
Strong presentation skills, including Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize projects
Oversee installation of tile, carpet, cabinets, lighting and bathroom fixtures
Oversee quality control of pre certified home
Qualifications:
Understanding of finishes and ability to choose appropriate items from a curated selection
Exceptional space planning skills
Must at least be enrolled in, or have Associates Degree related to Interior Design
Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced environment and make quick decisions
