Job Position: FP&A Assistant Analyst
The position will be part of the Rendr's Finance team in NYC and will be responsible for supporting the team by analyzing, collecting, reconciling, monitoring, and studying data. Rendr's finance team provides the support to all the departments, enabling them to make the most informed business and operational decisions as well as informs and advises the decision-making by management. The candidate will use high level analytical and excel skills to monitor and report on trends. Continuously update, monitor, and maintain the financial models. Reconcile the non-fee for service earnings and ensure that the proceeds are received in a timely manner, and none are missed due to unexpected/unresolved issues. Resolve the issues that have been identified to streamline the inflow of proceeds. Through analyses and reporting, the candidate will be building a successful career as a financial and business professional, and expertise in the Healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will report to the Financial Analyst and would be detail oriented, highly organized, effective communicator, and have the ability to work with team members, as well as independently. Essential Functions:
- Reconcile and process complex in nature transactions
- Manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plans and Modeling tools
- Reconcile and verify bank deposits and payments received from payers
- Maintain constant contacts with the payers
- Maintain monthly forecast processes providing updates and analysis to management
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Ensure follow-up action as and when necessary and provide updates to the management
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
- Adhere to corporate standards and procedures in all reconciliation activities
- Improve personal skill set regarding software proficiency, analysis, and data
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
- Experience in the Health Care industry is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven, and self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members, as well as independently
