For each client, Blue Corona implements inbound internet marketing strategies such as pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), website design and development, and marketing analytics services to measurably increase marketing performance.

Blue Corona is looking for a data-driven Design Intern for the winter/spring 2022 semester to assist with a variety of tasks on the Design Team. We’re interested in full-time or part-time candidates.

As a Design Intern, you will be part of a team that strives to create the right brand awareness, experience, and solutions for our clients. While your primary focus will be to design, enhance, and optimize websites and digital assets for our clients, you will also contribute to creative activities within the department and the company.

You are a creative individual with strong communication skills, an understanding of digital and print design best practices, and creative thinking. We are seeking a highly resourceful individual who excels at organization and communication ready to learn from our fast-paced, innovative organization. You should be excited to learn and collaborate in a dynamic team environment and will report directly to our Design Team Lead.

Responsibilities

• Assist our Digital Designers with digital design requests for a wide range of clients and industries
• Participate and aid with a wide variety of projects, including (but not limited to): Display/PPC Ads, Email Graphics, Email Newsletter Templates, Blog Graphics, Infographics, Social Media Graphics, Custom Button Designs, Website Revisions, Printed & Digital Promotional Materials.
• Help optimize our current collateral and client procedures

Experience

• Currently enrolled as a student in a public or accredited private academic institution with a minimum 3.0 grade point average
• Experience using software programs such as:
  • Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
  • Invision
  • Figma (preferred)
  • Power Point, Excel, Word
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to effectively present information to internal clients
• Ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented professional environment
• Creative thinker with an understanding of how to apply strategic design choices to support client goals
• Analytical thinker with an understanding of digital marketing
• Ability to multi-task and meet timelines on deliverables
• Loves to learn new things and thrive in an environment of learning, planning, and growing
