Marketing Intern
ROLE SUMMARY
CorePower Yoga is looking for a marketing intern who can support our marketing team on digital, social media, influencer, and partnership projects. The position reports to the Marketing and Communications Manager, can be remote (not restricted to a certain location) and requires 20 hours/week.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Social community management:
- Engage with followers and non-followers to grow brand love
- Reply or “like” 95% of all comments and 100% of DMs across all social platforms
- Triage comments/DMs to public relations and/or customer experience teams
- Comment on all posts tagging CorePower (@corepoweryoga, #corepoweryoga, or photo tags)
- UGC content coordination – update database, outreach, track permissions
- Create URL tags as needed
- Suggest additional ways to engage with and grow followers
- Weekly reporting on activities, results, updating status report, etc.
- Generating content/captions for social posts as needed by team
Influencer community management and relationship building:
- Identifying and/or vetting on-brand influencers for product gifting and partnerships
- Outreach and communication with influencers including reactive and proactive engagement
- Maintain and update influencer database
- Tracking and cataloging influencer posts
- Reporting on outcomes of influencer posts
- Sending products to influencers
- Weekly reporting on activities, results, updating status report, etc.
Other duties could include:
- Updating website as needed using Contentful
- Identifying potential partnerships for social media, content and other opportunities
- Track partnership deliverables and reporting i.e. follower growth, engagement, etc.
- Update/build emails using Klaviyo
- Pull email lists as needed
- Support other marketing creative projects as needed
EDUCATION, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Marketing, communications or social media experience or equivalent education
- Access to a laptop computer and mobile phone
- Strong creative writing and editing skills
- Understanding of brand-appropriate language and ability to follow brand guidelines
- Ability to stay organized and attend to details
- A self-driven, team player who takes initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Affinity and understanding of the CorePower Yoga brand, yoga and fitness
- Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.; knowledge of Smartsheet, Google Sheets, Google Slides is also useful
- Must be able to work in a stationary position, move and walk around event and office spaces, and lift occasionally up to 25 lbs

COMPENSATION
- $16 - $20 hourly
