Our team is looking for a dynamic Program Manager who is passionate about learning new things. Has strong analytical skills needed to solve complex problems and has a natural ability to explore the uncharted. This role will be part of the Backoffice Program Management team which works to help transform EUC solutions and business operations into a true, scalable SaaS operating model. In this role, you will work closely with cross functional teams both inside and outside of the Business Unit including IT, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Services and Operations. You are someone who enjoys bringing teams together to discuss the pain points in existing processes and can facilitate the discussions between the cross functional teams to create solutions and document the new processes

As a member of the EUC Backoffice Program Management team you’ll have the opportunity to work with highly skilled, passionate colleagues across Atlanta, Palo Alto, Bangalore, and cross teams across the globe. Work on Business Transformation Project in EUC. The project is to help pull usage metrics from the product and display it in a dashboard for teams. In this project the candidate will study the product and investigate best ways to pull the data from the product working product management team. Once the best method is identified, document it and work with engineering teams to implement it and build a dashboard.

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the 6 months you will work toward completing?

  • In your first 2 weeks, you will quickly come up to speed on our product portfolio Workspace One UEM, Horizon Cloud and gain a grasp on new technology concepts/initiatives in our pipeline. You’ll also start to get to know stakeholders and collaborators – critical to get your job done well.
  • By week 3 - you are taking the lead to identify scope of your project – what needs to be done to support the defining and building usage metrics dashboard.
  • Then you’ll drive conversation with internal stakeholders/internal customers, getting feedback from them to continue to test and validate your hypothesis, and draft a recommendation on solutions
  • At the end of your internship, you will present the usage metrics dashboard and demo it. It’s your chance to impress everyone.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

  • The essence of a program manager is to provide a collaborative platform for cross functional teams to accomplish the desired program outcome
  • Steps to take: Identify stakeholders, devise a timeline for the program after identifying the tasks and dependencies between the tasks.
  • Success is measured by the usage dashboard being useful for internal teams for billing purposes
  • To achieve this, you will be regularly meeting with internal customers to understand their needs and pain points, as well as with colleagues across the company to understand their plans and how we can collaborate for c
  • For your program milestones to be understood and worked on, effective collaboration- and excellent communication is essential, whether discussing with internal colleagues, up the management chain, or discussing with internal customers for feedback and validation. Your key duties and responsibilities:
  • Define key program milestones, analytics, KPIs to track the program’s progress
  • Drive the strategy and roadmap for the program
  • Conduct Market sizing and growth opportunities
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with strategy
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories

Key Qualifications and Requirements

  • Previous working experience in program management in SaaS
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision

• Exceptionally strong analytical skills and a natural predisposition toward data-driven decision[1]making. • Ability to handle several concurrent activities with attention to detail

  • Passionate about technology and have a strong drive to advance the state of IT

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Experience in SaaS delivery
  • MBA and BA/BS in Computer Science (or equivalents) preferred
  • Working knowledge of whiteboarding tools like Miro
  • Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
