JOB SUMMARY
This internship reports directly to the Risk Manager of Polaris Adventures and will support the Polaris Adventures team. During summers, the role is full-time 40 hours per week, with part-time options during the school year. Work will be performed remotely for the foreseeable future, some in-office may be required in the Plymouth, Minnesota Corporate office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, assignments will vary in nature depending on the needs of the organization, but could include:
- Project support and research
- Analysis and writing
- Contract review and drafting
- Commercial transactions
- Organizational formation and governance
- Business compliance
- Regulatory matters
- Conducting research and analysis on policy, regulatory and legal issues affecting the powersports industry and on general business issues
- Participating in internal and external meetings and other communications, as requested.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be currently pursuing a law degree
- Proven strength in analysis and creative problem solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership.
- Unrestricted Work Authorization
- Experience with, and an interest in, the PowerSports industry is a plus
- Ability to work independently and remotely (foreseeable future).
