University Relations & Recruiting Intern (Spring and Summer 2022)
The University Relations Specialist will support the internship program and campus recruiting efforts and related activities by assisting with planning, attending, and preparing materials for events (i.e. on-campus recruiting, career fairs, conferences, etc.).
The successful candidate enjoys multi-tasking and is a natural communicator who can easily build relationships. The University Relations Specialist will assist in promoting events to aid in recruiting top collegiate talent across multiple disciplines. You will support the University Relations team in attracting and hiring students by participating in networking and campus events, assist in evaluating data on university related engagements and our student related programs, compile information to create and update engaging presentations, and drive key projects that will help us evolve the intern program and increase adoption of strategic initiatives for a lasting impact.
Responsibilities
- Support University Relations team by facilitating with administering the internship program and with hiring events, virtual recruiting events, information sessions, including event logistics, registration, communications, volunteer engagement, and maintaining campus event calendar.
- Provide support with strategic initiatives such as researching opportunities for engagement with key schools as well as potential growth opportunities.
- Supporting recruitment efforts by scheduling and coordinating interviews, preparing offers, answering candidate questions, and other recruitment-related processes.
- Develop, prepare, and maintain presentations, videos and other external marketing materials to develop brand awareness and promote opportunities, in addition to internal documents and communication to support onboarding, development, and trainings.
- Gain and apply an understanding of intern and early career talent recruiting practices across multiple disciplines throughout the US. including school selection, faculty relations, pipeline programs, and hiring goals.
- Establish effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders to drive engagement and identify areas of improvement.
- Partner with peers to connect former interns to full time opportunities across the organization.
- Research, compile, file, and enter data with accuracy in real-time to ensure documentation integrity.
- May present to individuals or groups in-person and virtually at on-campus or in-office events.
- Comfortable in a high visibility role, possessing strong interpersonal skills.
- Support other projects and initiatives as assigned.
