Position Overview

We’re looking for a Summer 2022 Software Engineer intern to join the Interoperability group to help develop and maintain the core components that enable world class data translation capabilities in all of Autodesk’s major products. You will have the opportunity to apply your computer science knowledge and work closely with team members in US, Canada, UK and China to ensure excellent quality data translation component deliveries.

Responsibilities

· Design and implement testable, readable, and effective production quality code

· Develop test automations for import and export workflows

· Actively participate in team meetings and practice Agile mindset throughout the software development lifecycle

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience

· Coding and scripting skills in languages like C++, Python

· Strong knowledge in Computer Science subjects especially Object-oriented programming and data structures

· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

· Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team

· Keen eye for detail, meticulous and analytically minded

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous intern/FTE experience

· Expertise using one or more CAD systems including Autodesk Products like Fusion 360, Inventor, Alias, or other applications such as Solidworks, CATIA, Creo, Rhino, Sketchup, etc.

· Experience with PMI/MBD workflows

About the US Intern Program

The U.S. program runs from May through August for 12 weeks and will be remote (subject to change). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, work alongside peers from universities all over the country and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. US recruiting begins in the Fall and concludes end of March.
