Jr. Salesforce Administrator - May be remote - Norwich University
The Jr. Salesforce Administrator supports the Salesforce Administrator in the daily operation and maintenance of the Salesforce instance, and any integrating systems. The role performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to Salesforce reporting, new user set up and training, analysis, design, testing, and documentation. The Jr. Salesforce Administrator contributes to the decision-making process regarding how to best improve, expand, and enhance the CGCS Salesforce system. The position is also responsible for ensuring that staff and management have the business tools, training, data, and resources required to make informed decisions to enhance operations at CGCS.

Essential Functions
- Design, build, and test in Salesforce to support new projects and enhance existing customizations, functionality, and procedures
- Work in collaboration with data stewards in various functional units to meet data requrirements for complaince and operational processes
- Maintain documentation in support of end-user training and mapping of the Norwich Salesforce isntance architecture
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Salesforce and other integrated databases or software
- Ensure CGCS leadership has timely access to useful data.
The Jr Salesforce Administrator role is expected to monitor and participate in a number of listserves, network with peers within the University and across higher education, seek and attend relevant webinars, attend conferences or training sessions where and when applicable, acquire and digest documentation for a variety of systems and processes, investigate vendor-provided resources, anticipate and plan for a variety of changes, and develop innovative solutions in test environments.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor's degree;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with editing, querying, organizing, and managing data, preferably in higher education;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Salesforce, preferably with administrative tasks
- Experience in end-user training and process documentation
- Knowledge of MS Office; ability to manipulate bulk data in Excel with formulas or experience with bulk data manipulation with a programming language
- Experience working in enterprise databases, including navigation and reporting; experience involving implementation or upgrading of the system a plus
- Working knowledge of SQL a plus.
- Working knowledge of Apex a plus.
- Working knowledge of Pardot or Form Assembly a plus.
