Position Overview:

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is responsible to maintain a compliant production pipeline by ensuring loan files move through the origination process in a manner adhering to guidelines set forth by the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA). The Junior Compliance Analyst will assist in and concentrate on pipeline management and oversight specific to loan files started over 5 months from the initial application date and have not yet had a decision.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct state specific testing and reporting based on state regulation and examination findings
  • Report findings to Compliance Management
  • Maintain and enhance a strong understanding of mortgage related federal and state regulations and acts
  • Conduct regulatory compliance testing and reporting
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting, testing, or projects as needed
  • Adhere to all applicable compliance regulations
  • Communicate and relay compliance issues to team members and Compliance Management
  • Participate in offered continuing compliance education or training consisting of:
    • Webinars offered through vendors or regulatory agencies
    • Internal Update Conference Calls
    • LMS training
  • Provide periodic testing reports to Compliance Manager
  • Maintain Standard Monitoring Procedures for disclosures
  • Maintain Compliance Professional Profile and Team Player

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of general assistant processing experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize responsibilities and work flow.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent analytical skills: strong attention to detail is required
  • Mortgage industry experience not required
