This candidate should be able to support campaign development & assist with analyzing results for Upverter, Upverter Education, Octopart and Nexar . Good communication and work at home skills are needed to work across product engineering, marketing and engine teams.

Duration: Spring semester (Jan-May or June 2022)

Requirements:

• Ability to think outside the box, be creative, eager to learn
• Some experience doing social media marketing for a company or nonprofit (particularly with Instagram and Twitter; experience with LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook also preferred)
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)
• Familiarity with latest social media trends and marketing best practices
• Moderate experience with Photoshop and/or Canva (some experience with additional Adobe Suite programs a plus)
• Experience with content management systems (like WordPress, Contentful, Drupal) a plus
• Experience with social media ad campaigns through Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter a plus
• Engineering/technical background a plus

Tasks Needed:

• Paid social campaigns for Upverter/Upverter Education (possibly Octopart & Nexar)
  • Creating the campaign (strategy, scope, KPIs)Launching the campaign
    • Maintaining the campaign (regular optimization, manage budget)
  • Reporting on the success
• Organic social media posts on various platforms
  • Also needs to be proactive in finding things to post about & able to integrate social media into other marketing campaigns
• Content management support
  • Help loading blog posts & similar content to websites (Octopart, possibly Nexar)
• Creative assets (some design experience preferred)
  • Able to design images for social media posts
  • Able to edit videos for social media
