Primary responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Pursuit Phone Team Leadership and team members to create HEDIS outreach/record retrieval, Escalations and Provider Clean-up standard operating procedures, workflows, and documentation.
  • Interface with HEDIS Phone Team Director, Manager, Leads and full-time staff, Pursuit Spec Teams and Program Manager
  • Review Pursuit and Escalation Lessons Learned from previous HEDIS season with Phone Team to develop process improvements and attend relevant weekly workgroups.
  • Review Phone Team Process Docs, Training Manuals, and Temp Staff Onboarding/Performance Mgmt plan with the team.
  • Review Provider Clean-up Lessons Learned and Processes with Phone/Pursuit Team to develop process improvements for both, Provider outreach and reporting. Participate in clean-up process with the Pursuit Teams.
  • Assist with migration of Medicaid HEDIS pursuit/retrieval to new Pursuit tool

Qualifications

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, or other related degrees
  • Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university during internship
  • This internship is from June to August and is 40 hours per week/or 20 hours per week depending on school schedule in a virtual setting
  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
