Location: Richmond, VA and/or Remote
POSITION SUMMARY:
Indivior is seeking a Undergraduate (Junior, Senior) or Graduate level student studying supply chain related disciplines for a 6-month full time placement within the Global Procurement team. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience working to support the strategic sourcing of goods and services across the various Indivior business functions including but not limited to Marketing, Sales, Research and Development, Medical, and Manufacturing and Supply. The candidate will help achieve Global Procurement’s mission as a valued business partner delivering a competitive advantage to our Indivior internal stakeholders through strong supplier engagement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The role encompasses several key responsibilities, including but not limited to.
- Supports the development of procurement strategies collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver best results in minimizing risk and costs while delivering additional value levers and innovation to the organization.
- Conducts, prepares and presents spend, market and supplier research to support the development of spend category and supplier strategies.
- Prepares and executes various sourcing techniques including requests for information, proposals, quotes and solutions.
- Creates detailed and sophisticated sourcing analysis to support achievement of best total value for the company.
- Analyses spend areas to identify and manage vulnerability to the business as well as new opportunities.
- Completes ad-hoc work assignments as required for the Direct Procurement and Business Process & Intelligence teams.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate (Junior or Senior level) or graduate program and maintain enrolment throughout the internship.
- Preference for students majoring in Supply Chain Management, Business with concentration in supply chain management, or a similar type major.
- Consideration will be given to applicants from other job relevant majors including Life Sciences and Marketing.
Experience:
- Some diverse business/work experience with focus on customer/stakeholder interaction and analytical methods and decision tools.
Travel:
- Some travel within the US and UK may be offered if opportunity arises.

Salary and Benefits:
- Position is paid a flat hourly rate of $18.00. Position does not include benefits. There will be some flexibility provided on working hours in order to allow for continuing education requirements.
