New Role 2022: Localization Project Coordinator – remote-based - Europe

We are looking for a junior professional, with experience of 1 – 3 years in the localization industry, with at least 1-year internship or working experience as a project coordinator. We are also interested to speak to language teachers, looking for their first role in the Localization industry.

This role will involve working hours until 5.30 pm GMT.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Primary support for internal PMs and ad-hoc support for the team
  
• Partnering with PMs and PCs in other time zones to ensure all communications are addressed in applicable time zones
  
• Responsible for the day to day delivery of projects, ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) for a number of product portfolios
  
• Supporting PM team with the general email communication management and other relevant tasks, ensuring that all communications are addressed in a timely fashion, incl. vendor and client communication.
  
• Learning and working with a company and client-specific tools and platforms
  
• Basic troubleshooting of internal and client-specific tools
  
• Provide troubleshooting for linguists and assist PM’s troubleshoot for clients
  
• Documenting processes, contributing ideas and implementing improvements for overall benefit to the team
  
• Manage assignments/tasks as given by PMs and support PMs effectively with complex initiatives and deliverables
  
• Working with the senior management team on special projects/tasks as needed

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  
• Excellent time management skills, the ability to adapt to change, multitask and prioritize tasks as needed
  
• Mid-Level experience using Microsoft Office 365 & CAT Tools
  
• Ability to work independently and also as part of a global team
  
• Ability and willingness to learn new tools
  
• Ability to process and retain a high volume of information, particularly during the training phase
  
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing (English) and face-to-face, online
  
• Technical proficiency working with and troubleshooting different computer platforms, tools and ability to understand proprietary systems
  
• Experience supporting multiple points of contact
  
• Time flexibility to adjust working hours during cover periods when possible
