The Opportunity

As the company continues to grow we are seeking a Supply Chain Business Analyst Warehousing Intern with a flexible start date between now and January and, for the right candidate, potentially continuing through Summer 2022 as part of Ortho’s Summer Intern Program. The Supply Chain Business Analyst Planning Intern will work with the assigned team to facilitate daily/weekly/monthly operational reporting in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Power BI.

This position can be in Rochester NY, Memphis, TN or remote.

The Responsibilities

  • Interact with assigned team to capture reporting requirements.

  • Work with SC Analytics team to setup reports.

  • Facilitate regular reporting: publishing, maintenance, improvements.

  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis.

The Individual

  • Field of Study Graduate /Undergraduate: Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Economics.

  • Minimum Years In School: 3rd year

  • Minimum GPA: 3.5

  • Above average knowledge of Excel is required – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, graphs.

  • Good understanding of standard Microsoft Office tools – PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams.

  • Experience with Power BI is strongly desired.

  • Experience with prioritizing and being successful in an environment with competing demands.

  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision.

  • Aptitude for learning new technical skills independently.

  • Aptitude for learning new business concept.

  • Attention to detail is a must.

  • Inquisitiveness.

  • Critical Thinking.

  • Strong understanding and adherence to the 80/20 Rule.

  • Student must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
