About the Role

As a Business Process Architect intern, you will you will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, project owners, SMEs and IT to document current and future state business processes, pain points, gap requirements and capabilities. You will align strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding key business and IT initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with the business architecture team to identify strategic capabilities and measure the maturity based on people, process, data and technology.

Job Responsibilities/Projects

  • Lead discussions with the business to analyze and define processes at the enterprise level, including pain points, key gaps, metrics and improvement areas.

  • Define, design and mature business capability architecture for the enterprise, such as a capability maps, value streams and project roadmaps

  • Migrate existing business architecture collateral including value streams, capabilities, processes and pain points from current disparate repositories into structured metamodel and architecture modeling tool

What You’ll Need

  • Undergraduate/Masters student pursuing an Information Systems, Operations, Consulting degree or related field

  • Experience or understanding with business process improvement management, business process re-engineering or Lean Six Sigma

  • Excellent leadership, collaboration, and motivational skills.

  • Able to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team.

  • Understanding of relational database concepts
