We are currently looking for an innovative and professional intern to join the Human Resources department for a summer internship in Orlando, Florida.

Position Overview:

The Human Resources Intern is responsible for supporting the department with updating programs, materials and other responsibilities that align with strategic goals of the organization. The internship involves using communication, computer, creative thinking and analytical skills to get things done effectively. Internship includes mentorship, soft and technical skills training, and networking to learn more about the Siemens Gamesa organization and wind industry.

SGRE Summer Intern Program is May 16 – August 12, 2022

Responsibilities:

  • Update new hire orientation program materials including analyzing survey results and identifying a series of videos and training curriculum for the first 90 days
  • Research, identify, test and recommend training curriculum for HR and leadership teams
  • Revamp departmental information session
  • Support Talent Acquisition Partner with building out University Recruiting schedule for fall and spring semesters
  • Potential for additional projects in Global Mobility, Payroll, or HR Information Systems
  • Other responsibilities and projects assigned by manager

Required skills, experience, and education:

  • Pursing Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Communication, Adult Education, or applicable field
  • Rising sophomore, junior, or rising grad student (intern should have at least 2 years left in school)
  • 3.0+ overall GPA
  • Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.
  • Advanced computer skills with MS Office (word, excel, power point)
  • Solid communication skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate innovation and forward-thinking aptitude through previous school projects, employment, or extracurricular activities
  • Experience with presenting in front of small and large groups Qualified applicants may be allowed remote working opportunities, based on business needs .

Preferred skills, experience, and education:

  • Experience in training & development, new hire orientation, onboarding, project management
