Financial Planning & Budgeting Intern (Potential Hybrid/Remote Work Options)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Effectively support critical Financial Planning & Budgeting initiatives such as coordination and consolidation of expense budget
- Initiatives may include quarterly and annual forecasting for expenses to align with premium and loss forecast
- Assist with regular variance reporting of actual results versus budget, including research and resolution of business unit inquiries
- Assist with elevating team output by working on continuous improvement projects
- Support creating executive presentations
- Support a small team and get technical and leadership coaching that will enhance your skills
- Have access to senior leadership to further refine perspective
What You’ll Bring To The Company:
- Majoring in Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Business Management or other applicable fields
- 1 – 2 years of financial classes or equivalent experience
- Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter
- Strong written and communication skills
- Previous software experience needed (Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint)
