Summer 2022 Internships: Sales Representative

For eight Foolish weeks as a Sales Intern, you'll be learning our offerings, talking to our members and supporting them in their journey as they grow on their Foolish investing path. You will have hands-on experience working with members who may be just starting out with The Motley Fool and the goal will be to help guide them towards higher value services that will meet their investment goals. Additionally, there may also be the opportunity to work on cross-departmental projects.
You'll be challenged and mentored by some of our greatest team members all summer, and in turn, you'll develop the skills it takes to cultivate a member first mindset that will set you apart from your peers. This is a paid full-time (40 hrs/wk) internship from June - July, 2022, that will be fully remote, although we have office locations in Denver, CO and Alexandria, VA.
What you need to succeed:

- Interest in finance, investing and sales
- Exhibit strong and confident interpersonal skills
- Able to drive business to support TMF’s vision and goals
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through targeted meetings with members
- Manage prospects throughout the sales cycle and record progress in CRM
- Professionally represent TMF to build relationships with our existing client base
What would be really cool of you to have, but not required:
- Experience in revenue generation/sales.
- Experience with one on one interaction with prospective members.
- Experience working in a CRM environment (ie: Hubspot would be amazing!)
- Leadership experience guiding a team or group of individuals
- A passion for investing with experience in personal investment strategies or at least a familiarity with basic concepts of investing and finance.
