Graduate Intern ‐ Marketing

Location: Remote OR South San Francisco, CA – with possibility for Flex Schedule (mix between on‐site and remote)
The position will report to the Director of Marketing in a remote capacity or at South San Francisco campus. Throughout the summer, the intern will take direct responsibility for a key mission‐critical project related to the launch preparation for tabelecleucel. At the end of the summer, the intern will deliver a final internship presentation to the commercial organization.
The key area of responsibility will be to develop the marketing/sales fulfilment platform. This role partners with sales, commercial operations, outside vendors, compliance and other key cross functional Atara teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop state of the art fulfillment platform to efficiently deliver marketing materials to the Sales Force, Patient Services, Specialty Pharmacies, Conventions, and HCP Events.
- Develop process to produce promotional materials in various formats, including digital/print.
- Work closely with external creative agencies in the development of the process.
- Integrate system to monitor inventory levels of marketing materials to prevent availability gaps.
- Develop process for the purchase and renewal of subscriptions to journal articles, both hard and digital copies, for the sales force.
- Work with commercial operations to integrate process into Sales Enablement Tool, managing inventory audits and reporting.
- Manage process to choose fulfillment support vendor.
- As part of part of a world class marketing team the candidate will gain exposure to key areas including, launch campaigns, digital strategies, KOL management, meeting strategies and brand budgeting.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a fully accredited graduate program, between 1st and 2nd year of Masters Program with 3.0 GPA and
- Must have the ability to get work
- An outstanding candidate will have relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, market research, data analysis, strategic planning, healthcare consulting, clinical care, finance, or a related healthcare
- A passion for and an understanding of the oncology and biotechnology
- Excellent academic credentials demonstrating consistent academic
- Career interest in healthcare and subjects such as strategy, market research, and
- Excellent analytical skills and comfort with complex business problems.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills including confidence in crafting and delivering presentations to senior executives.
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to relate to and communicate with clinicians and scientists as well as a comfort with clinical
- Ability to operate professionally and competently in an entrepreneurial team
- Experience in oncology or biotechnology
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication
- Proficient in MS Office
- Self‐motivated, flexible, creative, able to prioritize, multi‐task, and work in a fast‐paced and demanding
- Must be a self‐starter, collaborates cross‐functionally, and can work independently with minimal functional
- Able to take ownership of a given assignment, proactively consulting other team members and other department representatives for information or guidance, as necessary.
