Our consulting teams offer end-to-end management consulting in key issues areas that include: business unit, therapy area and brand strategy, portfolio strategy, launch strategy, pricing & market access studies and commercial model design and optimization. Becoming a part of IQVIA Strategy Consulting as a Summer Associate will put you in a key position to help shape the future of global healthcare. We are an international consultancy partnering with clients to chart a path through the ever-changing life sciences industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Summer Associate, you’ll participate in the design, development and delivery of medium-sized consulting projects or components of larger, complex projects. Your internship will provide you with the opportunity to:

Leverage business experience and acumen in identifying strategic alternatives and project approach to client questions
Conduct primary and secondary research, and analyze research to identify key findings and learnings
Take responsibility for creating sections of reports, presentations, workshops and other client deliverables, under general guidance from experienced team leaders
Communicate strategic recommendations
Perform quantitative or qualitative analysis to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions
Assist in serving as the day-to-day manager for projects and working closely with clients
At the end of the internship, all Summer Associates are evaluated and considered for a full-time offer

Skills & Experience:

Demonstrable analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including experience with creating and delivering presentations, meeting and workshop facilitation, and business /report writing
Strong capability in juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high quality outcomes
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals
Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries is desirable but not required
Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques desirable, not critical

Qualifications & Requirements:

In addition to the skills and experience above, Summer Associate candidates should be completing their first year of their MBA program and have a bachelor's/graduate degree, as well as:

Strong academic track record
Prior experience or avid interest in the healthcare and life science industries
Some project management experience desired, but not critical
Adaptability and an ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge
Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Commitment to at least 10-weeks during the summer
