For eight Foolish weeks as a Software Developer Intern, you'll be embedded with your dedicated tech team and get hands-on experience working with our software developers and stakeholders. You'll be working with a rapidly-growing and agile team, but you will get exposure to all parts of the development stack!

You'll be challenged and mentored by some of our greatest developers and engineers all summer, and in turn, you'll develop a business-focused, acutely technical mindset that sets you apart from your peers. This is a paid full-time (40 hrs/wk) internship from June - July, 2022, that will be fully remote, although we have office locations in Denver, CO and Alexandria, VA.

What would be ideal to help you hit the ground running:

• Familiarity with Python web apps (eg, Django, etc.) and Git.
• Flexibility and ability to learn quickly.
• Strong analytical and excellent problem solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as with an awesome and diverse team.

Nice to have, but not required on day one:

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or other general purpose programming languages.
• Experience with VueJS/Webpack and TailwindCSS.
• Basic knowledge of technologies like Postgres and Kubernetes/Docker.
• Exposure to Jenkins, Datadog, Sentry, and to Cheddar Cheese.
