As a member of the VMware Record to Report (RTR) team you will be part of a dynamic project management team located in Palo Alto, CA. The team is responsible for the design of VMware’s accounting processes and as a member you will work closely with key partners on projects to drive process improvements and automation for global, end-to-end general accounting processes. The RTR team also manages the robotic process automation (RPA) program for the finance organization, providing an exciting opportunity to learn about the newest technology and its impact.

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the summer you will work toward completing?

During your internship you will:

• Work cross functionally with key partners throughout the finance organization
• Learn to manage projects and deadlines and develop analytical and organizational skills
• Think critically and adapt to changing business requirements

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

• Help lead projects within the Record to Report function, particularly as related to RPA
• Help with the execution of ongoing strategic projects and initiatives within the global accounting operations organization

Remote: this internship will be remote and can be performed anywhere in the US.

This position is available to currently enrolled Bachelor-level students only, with a degree possession of December 2022 or later. The internship will be a 12-week, full-time commitment during Summer 2022.
