Who YOU Are:
As a member of the HearingLife Learning and Development team, the Junior Learning Experience Designer will play a key role in creating high-value training programs for our Team Members at all levels. We will soon launch a new Learning Management System (LMS) and are working to create a core learning curriculum by developing programs that elevate talent throughout our geographically dispersed organization. This will involve repurposing existing content for the LMS platform, as well as development of future curriculum and programs for a variety of delivery methodologies.
Reporting to the Learning Experience Designer, the successful person in this role will use multi-media tools and platforms to develop online and offline learning solutions that target learning objectives, improve performance and deliver business results. It is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to make a significant difference in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Participate in creation of a learning program inventory and development strategy, to identify current/new content needs and prioritize timeline for delivery.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to analyze, design, develop, storyboard, narrate, edit, assess, and evaluate eLearning and other training curriculum, to include Instructor Led, video-based training, and other delivery methodologies.
- Create and integrate interactive elements into eLearning courses, including graphics, audio, narrations, gamification, etc.
- Manage and prioritize multiple learning project plans with extreme flexibility to meet tight deadlines.
- Utilize our Learning Management System to provide the best experience for the learners.
- Evaluate, recommend and implement third party learning solutions, materials and media as appropriate, while managing vendors/suppliers.
- Perform quality assurance testing during the development life cycle of training programs, products and services.
- Measure the effectiveness and impact of learning solutions and use the data to continuously improve our learning solutions.
- Organize updates to existing learning materials for the continuous improvement of course content.

We are Excited About You if:
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Proficient in all facets of the Instructional Design process, adult learning principles and training design. Knowledge and/or experience in training delivery preferred.
- Proficiency in learning solution development software: Adobe Creative Suite CS6 (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere), Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate and/or other platforms.
- Video production experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint
- Able to translate business information and concepts into visually appealing, dynamic and impactful learning content. Work samples will be requested during the interview process
- Working knowledge of GoToMeeting, Skype and/or Adobe Connect, and the design of synchronous learning events
- Prior experience administering or working with Learning Management Systems strongly preferred
- Knowledge of SCORM and AICC strongly preferred
- Exceptional verbal, written and non-verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
