Those who are hired will join our Patent Prosecution Group in Houston and will be trained in the art of patent application drafting and prosecution. No previous intellectual property experience is necessary. As a member of the Patent Prosecution Group, you will assist in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications for technical innovations. This is a unique position that will allow you to leverage your technical skills while developing new writing and client interaction skills. An advanced university degree in a technical field is not required, but is a plus. Junior patent agents (1-2 years of experience) or those who have passed the registration exam but do not yet have any experience are also invited to apply for this position.

As part of the Patent Prosecution Group, you will routinely learn about cutting-edge technological innovations and utilize your technical acumen to assist in preparation of descriptions, figures, analyses, and other materials regarding these innovations. We routinely work with some of the largest and most innovative technology companies in the world.

We provide our group with on-the-job training and mentoring to grow their skills. As a team member of the group, you will work with patent attorneys and agents to help secure patents for innovations.
