Job Title: Events Intern
Reporting to: Specialist, Events

Inspirato holds hundreds of events for its members, each year. From wine-dinners to cooking classes, family clambakes to various virtual events. The personality of the club comes alive when members congregate for an experience outside of their travel. Our events embrace and expand upon the mission of our company (to inspire lasting memories and relationships by changing the way family and friends experience the world) by providing meaningful, experiential, and memorable events in our members' own backyards and virtually. Interning with Inspirato’s events department will introduce you to a unique event world within luxury travel.

Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to:
  • Assist with event marketing for all member and prospective member events, including but not limited to digital invitations, RSVP landing pages, recipes, event information, email reminders, event naming and descriptions.
  • Work with Event Specialists and Event Coordinator to assist in event research that will include finding venues, vendors, pricing, floor plans, capacities, food and beverage, customization, and service for member and prospective events.
  • Maintain good relationships with external vendors and partners.
  • Provide tactical support for Event Specialists and Event Coordinator including, shipping and handling, name badge printing, attendee profile compilation, etc.
  • Assist with keeping rsvp’s up to date for events, this could include cancellations and additions.
  • Be familiar with zoom operations to be able to help host attendees during a virtual event and troubleshoot any tech/event issues that may arise.
  • Assist with hosting in-person and virtual events and must conduct yourself in a professional manner and interact with members, encourage networking, and be comfortable with public speaking. This includes event set up and tear down for in-person events.
  • Possess a love for events and hospitality, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Assist with host communication and ordering catering for the suites/ticketing program.
  • Assist the experiences and bespoke teams when needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
To perform the job successfully, the following competencies would be advantageous:

Preferred Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working successfully in event planning/execution or a similar role/business or currently enrolled or received a 4-year degree, preferably in Event Management, Hospitality, or Tourism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office operating systems.
  • Zoom familiarity.
Compensation - $16.00/ hour
Benefits – This position is eligible for Inspirato’s 401k program. The company offers a 6% match to those who choose to enroll.
