This internship in is Full Time (20 hours/week) and will ideally start in Febraury and last for the duration of 6 months.


What you’ll learn and do:

As a Digital Engineering Intern in the DesignWare NVM group, you will be part of a dynamic team developing advanced non-volatile memory designs. You will be collaborating with digital, analog, CAD, layout, and test experts to create customized digital solutions that will be fabricated, tested, and implemented into high volume applications.


The position’s responsibilities include contributing to the following areas:

  • Intellectual Property Development
o Create and validate RTL for NVM controller
o Synthesize, Place, and Route NVM controller
o Design, document, and execute automated test strategy for NVM products
o Generate NVM macro schematic views
  • Test Chip
o Create and validate RTL for chip test controller
o Synthesize, Place, and Route chip test controller
o Design, document, and execute automated test strategy for multi-IP qualification tapeout
  • Design Kit
o Create and validate behavioral model for NVM IP for customer implementation
o Create and validate .lib and other collateral necessary for integration
o Support and use internal design kit automation tools
This position is focused on developing the Design Kit.


Skill Requirements:

Candidate must be working towards a Bachelor’s of Science degree, and must have successfully completed at least one year of studies. The candidate must be comfortable working remotely and have strong problem solving and interpersonal skills.
A background in semiconductor physics and VLSI design is desirable. Familiarity with scripting, C# (or similar compiled object-oriented language) and Synopsys tools such as VCS is a plus.
Résumés must include GPA, relevant coursework, dates of availability, and expected graduation date.


Education Qualifications:

All interns must be currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution. Pursuing BA/BS
