Success in this role: What will the 12-week internship consist of?

In End User Computing (EUC) at VMware, we are in the business of helping customers bring Business Mobility to reality: transforming their high-demand applications, building and leading the next-generation desktop, and helping industries shift core business processes and operations to make things happen only possible in today's mobile environment. With over 60,000 customers around the globe, our EUC team is helping companies deliver work at the speed of life, and our technologies are leading what's happening next for users across the enterprise.

We are searching for a talented, dynamic, hands-on Program Management Intern to be part of an exciting, fast-moving team.

You will work closely with teams across all of EUC including Business Insights, Product Management, Product Marketing, Pricing and Packaging, Renewals Sales, Partner Operations, and Field Sales. In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in all the development phases of the EUC Single Source of Truth (SSOT) and dashboards including requirements, design, coding, unit testing, debugging and performance tuning.

What type of work will I be doing?

Partner closely with the EUC Program Management Team, Product Management, Product Marketing, Pricing and Packaging, and Support teams to enable new products and services to market.

• Support communication, enablement documentation, and trackers for continued progress
• Attend meetings and not be afraid to provide your feedback or thoughts
• Organize and document internal meeting minutes, project trackers, operating procedures, and templates for our team
• Update internal stakeholders on current initiatives, including issues and risks

What skills would make for a successful internship?:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
• Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PPT, Word)
• Coursework (in some) of the following: Project Management, Analytics, Statistics, Software Development, Technical Writing, Product Design
• Ability to think creatively, take ownership of tasks, and adapt to changing business requirements with a “fix it” attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills, including good communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas in a precise and concise manner

This position is available to currently enrolled Bachelor-level students only, with a degree possession of December 2022 or later. The internship will be a 12-week, full-time commitment during Summer 2022.
