Where You’ll Work
Accredo Benefit Coordination and Prior Authorization team is looking for a problem-solver and data analytics mindset. PARCM is key responsibilities are determining coverage eligibility and out of pocket expenses. As an intern, you'll get an inside look at your desired field, while working next to some of the best in the industry. What You’ll Do
Responsible for analyzing current performance and proposing solution-based process assessments/change requirements.
Develop and analyze financial/operational trends for business critical service metrics.
Monitor and distribute reporting and analytics to leadership team and other business partners as needed.
Utilize data findings and analysis to identify process gaps and opportunities for increased service levels and risk reduction.
Develop reporting templates, real-time dashboards and daily, weekly, monthly reports as well as lead ad-hoc projects for analytics as requested

Qualifications
Ideal candidate will be a 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher strongly preferred.
Advanced problem-solving skills
Advanced Microsoft Office software experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to share opinions and take risks
Takes initiative, independent thinker and worker
Ability to develop and model hypotheses and conclusions while identifying assumptions

Schedule: You must be available to work a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks summer 2022, beginning May 23, 2022. ​

This role can work from home from any US location.

One goal of this internship program is to prepare and identify qualified candidates for roles with Cigna post-graduation. Therefore, this temporary internship is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of $16 - $53, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
