Then please consider applying for one of our summer internships in the Office of Information Technologies (OIT) at the University of Notre Dame! The OIT serves as the Notre Dame community's trusted partner for effective information technology solutions to advance the University's mission and goals, and has been recognized for 9 consecutive years in IDG's Insider Pro and Computerworld's best place to work in IT. Based on your abilities, background and interests, we will customize your internship in one or more of the following areas: Application Development* Creating and supporting services coded in various programming languages, including Oracle-PL/SQL, Ruby on Rails, ColdFusion, and HTML Business Intelligence* Mining data and performing data analysis to extract useful business insights* Backend software engineering to build scalable solutions and help automate data processing challenges* Developing solutions in a Tableau reporting environment System Integration* Writing interfaces for SQL Server and Oracle databases* Developing APIs and automated programs to transfer data between various applications Enterprise Solution Enhancement and Support* Building/enhancing solutions provided via Google, Qualtrics, ServiceNow, OnBase and other enterprise tools Project Support * Project management, business analysis and quality assurance * Meeting with various customers around campus to understand their business needs and develop IT solutions/recommendations to support their needs * Developing technical documentation to ensure solutions can be properly supported following project closeout The University of Notre Dame is committed to diversity (http://diversity.nd.edu/) in its staff,faculty, and student body. Minimum Qualifications:
- In pursuit of 4-year college degree or enrolled in a 2-year coding school program- Strong desire to gain experience applicable to a career in IT - Strong communication skills - Desire/ability to learn new technical/leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Completed at least 2 years of college study (i.e., will be a college junior or senior in the fall of 2022)
