Junior Testing Specialist

Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document test scripts to conduct functional, Regression and Integration Testing of the applications.
  • Document defects and work with development team for remediation and retest.
  • Document test results for incorporation into the Requirements Traceability and Verification.
  • Participate in sprint level ceremonies, user story reviews and design implementation sessions.
  • Assist with data set up for test automation and perform validation of test results.
  • Report and track defects and work closely with the development teams in defect resolution.
  • Participate in peer reviews of test cases, artifacts and provide feedback using company’s standards.
  • Participates in internal and external meetings as required.
. Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Experience with collaboration and tracking tools, such as JIRA, Confluence and TestRail.
  • Knowledge of good SQL skills.
  • Experience working with web services and APIs preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare IT industry
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Strong written & verbal communication.


Education/Experience Level:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Software Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years software quality assurance testing and/or development experience
  • 3+ years creating and executing test plans and test scripts.
