Summer 2022 Full Stack Engineering Intern

As a full-stack engineering intern at the New York Times, you will have the opportunity to work on the most impactful surfaces of our products, from custom editing interfaces for our journalists to web, and email products for millions of users around the world. You can also contribute to the development of new products beyond our core journalism, such as the NYT Games and NYT Cooking.
Responsibilities
Write high-quality code with best practices and design patterns in mind
Work with current technologies including React, GraphQL and CSS Modules
Have a voice in the direction of our products
Work at scale to help deliver our journalism to millions of users around the world
Have the opportunity to work with all parts of the stack and contribute to broader architectural discussions within the organization
About You
Professional experience working with current web technologies
Be able to work in a highly collaborative environment with peers from different backgrounds and skill set
Enjoy finding creative solutions to technical challenges and appreciate the balance between strong convictions and a pragmatic approach
Show curiosity about the world and a desire to learn and grow
Have pride in your work
About Our Summer Internships
Our internships are paid.
It is 10 weeks long, starting in June 2022.
