Job Description:
Arrow Electronics Summer 2022 Accounting Internship Program! The 2022 Arrow Internship Program will be 100% virtual. All events, training and meetings will be virtual. Arrow will supply all interns with company equipment.

Internship: Approximately 10 weeks; June to August.
Functional Area: Accounting
Based on your experience and interests, you will interview with and work on a team for approximately 10 weeks during the summer. Interns may be considered for potential full-time opportunities on based on their internship performance.

Functional Area
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Intern. This position would work full time over the summer. The Accounting Intern will function in a role similar to a Staff Accountant by evaluating transactions and records to the general ledger as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete. The intern will also function in a role similar to SEC/SOX Staff Analyst and will assist with the timely and accurate preparation of external quarterly financial reports to be files with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for the day to day function of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts, including coordination of resources, review of work, ensuring test results are properly documented, and any other issues are appropriately raised.

Requirements & Skills:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a graduation date no earlier than May/June 2022
Available to work full-time (40 hours/week), virtually, during the summer (June through Mid-August)
Adequate WiFi
3.0 GPA or Higher
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize based on opportunities and effectively multitask
Experience using Microsoft Office
Detail oriented mindset
Quickly learn process of orders, inventory management, and data analysis
Problem solving – work with management to overcome obstacles within a supplier and makes it transparent to sales team
Hiring Rate/ Range:
$18 - $26 Hourly*
- Range may vary due to degree, specialty, business unit and/or other factors.
