Currently we’re recruiting interns for our summer 2022 Strategic Student Program. Our intern positions will allow you to find a career path that most inspires you. Baseline Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student majoring in business (marketing, information systems, operations, or data analytics), communications, or similar
  • Able to work from our Livonia, MI or Milford, OH office location without relocation assistance, OR open to 100% remote work (must be in Eastern Standard Time)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship

Siemens Industry Software Inc. is a technology supplier to the United States Federal Government. Recently The White House issued an Executive Order requiring most federal workers, contractors and subcontractors who do business with the government to get vaccinated against COVID-19 unless granted an accommodation due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief or practice. The Company has decided to pause enforcement of the vaccine mandate for the time being while the issue is addressed by the courts. We will be monitoring the situation closely and may lift the pause if required to do so in order to be in compliance with federal law. If this pause is lifted you will be expected to be vaccinated against COVID-19.


  • Industry Marketing Internship

In the Industry Marketing organization, we are aligned with the Siemens PLM Software’s strategy of going to market by industry. Part of doing so is supporting our customers success, which is the need to ensure our Services organization is able to drive their strategy. This requires individuals that can be aligned with that strategy and with the foundation of our Global Marketing priorities.

At Siemens, we are focused on helping our customers achieve success and be a leader in their market. The Services we provide them is a critical part of making that happen. In support of that, we are seeking 3 exceptional marketing interns that can develop the content needed to ensure we can clearly communicate how we can help our customers reach their goals.

Program Manager Co-op

The Program Manager Co-op will support the Go-to-Market Management & Initiatives team’s Program Managers in enhancing marketing processes, organizing and managing projects, and implementing programs around marketing campaign activities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Market presence: Support the development of deeper level market presence by industry
  • Campaign/Marketing: Support PMs in their work to oversee Digital Thread/Solution Domain campaigns
  • Drive collaboration and alignment amongst global teams to achieve goals for various projects
  • Support ad-hoc programs and initiatives that relate to our Go-to-Market strategy and execution

Campaign Operations & Systems Co-op

The Campaign Operations & Systems Co-op will support the Campaign Operations & Systems Manager in ensuring marketing business systems operate correctly and providing accurate data to allow others in the organization to make decisions and execute their own work accordingly.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Data integration projects
  • Develop a Mendix app that has its own database but connects with other systems to pull information
  • User experience projects
  • Develop user personas and user stories with various people that would use an app we intend to build
  • Solution Map database app


Go-to-market Initiatives Co-op

The Go-to-market Initiatives Co-op will support the greater Industry Go-to-market team with strategies and enhancements that help mold both internal processes and our presence in the market.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the coordination and management of projects
  • Researching data and insights on an ad-hoc basis
  • Performing administrative tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc.

Requirements (applicable to all 3 intern positions):

  • GPA of a 3.0 or higher
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship from the company
  • Currently enrolled in classes related to marketing, digital marketing, communications, or related fields
  • Major in Business / Marketing / Information Systems / Data Analytics / Communications preferred
  • Strong, polished oral and written communications skills
  • Basic understanding and working experience with Microsoft Office tools
