Job Description: Inspirato Internship, Destination Experience
Reporting to: Senior Leaders, Destination Experience
We are looking for diverse Junior & Senior candidates with a strong work ethic and dedicated interest in the luxury hospitality and travel industries. This specific Internship will assist the Destination Experience department at Inspirato. The Destination Experience department is responsible for providing Signature Service to all Inspirato members and travelers on their vacations. The Destination Experience Intern will be tasked with priority projects identified by the department leadership team and will be focused on innovating and creating processes and procedures for the department. Ideal candidates will be current students or recent graduates who are detail-oriented, digitally savvy, and driven to provide high-quality work on challenging projects. We are looking for those who have a willingness to participate in a fast-moving work environment while being able to manage multiple tasks and activities simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Experience Managers and Destination Management teams to ensure quality and luxury standards are met.
  • Manage special projects requested by Portfolio Experience Management and Service Innovation Team.
  • Ensure compliance with Inspirato Service standards and procedures through Lessonly tool.
  • Assist with creative ideas and resolutions to address Destination Experience project challenges and opportunities related to initiatives such as: Choice Housekeeping, Preferred Vendors, Inspirato Pass.
  • Develop, maintain, and innovate processes and procedures for the Destination Experience department that eliminate friction to the member experience.
  • Work with cross-department partners involved in department initiatives including: Accounting and Finance, Legal, Product, Payroll, Human Resources, and Destination Experience.
  • Make recommendations to leadership for operational sustainability changes that maximize member experience.
  • Provide administrative assistance with the Preferred Vendor project, with specific focus on building the program’s internal infrastructure.
  • Running and maintaining financial and satisfaction reporting as needed.
  • Support of key hospitality leadership including Vice President, Director, Sr. Managers, and Field Teams.
  • Work with Portfolio Experience Managers on cadence of communication to field leadership and teams.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies in sustainability in the Inspirato operation.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of staffing metrics database.
  • Organize data associated with team growth KPIs.
  • General administrative duties.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled or received a 4-year degree program and entering Junior or Senior year; Hospitality degree or equivalent studies preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and passion for hospitality industry.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to think strategically.
  • Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
  • A strong comfort level to track multiple projects simultaneously and feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated energy, drive, determination and persistence.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to present information clearly and concisely and respond to questions from various department and levels within the organizational structure.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the organization and to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
  • A self-starter with the ability to independently execute tasks with little to no direction.
  • Excellent verbal and composition ability, plus a high degree of professionalism.
  • Be able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
Compensation - $16.00/ hour
Benefits – This position is eligible for Inspirato’s 401k program. The company offers a 6% match to those who choose to enroll.
