This is a great fully remote opportunity for an Accountant with Income Tax experience to join a leading global FinTech. We are looking for someone with some experience completing Federal, State and local tax returns, experience or knowledge of ASC 740, and understanding of tax research and products like CCH/BNA. This is a growing team, within a growing company and industry, so the potential for this role is very high.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation / review of Federal, state, & local income tax returns
- Preparation of income tax estimated tax payments and extensions
- Preparation of income tax provisions
- Assist in implementation of Accounting for Income Tax software
- Income tax research
- Work with domestic tax advisors on various US issues
- 2+ years of progressive income tax accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Accounting Degree (Masters preferred)
- ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes) experience
- Accounting for income tax software experience preferred
- Proficient in income tax research products such as CCH/BNA
- Proficient in Excel
