Jr QA Analyst

About the job
The Jr. QA Analyst role is responsible for ensuring consistent quality of software releases relative to the established standards by utilizing Quality Assurance & Quality Control methodology.
Experience with Manual Testing is Required - Manual Testing is the process of manually testing software for defects. It requires a tester to play the role of an end-user whereby they use most of the application's features to ensure correct behavior.
Responsibilities
Report quality issues as related to our Software Development Activities.
Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output
Identify any potential issues, validate them and reproduce the steps.
Create and execute manual test cases and plans
Translate requirements from Product into test cases
Document, track, and communicate the test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems to the QA team
Communicate ongoing progress to QA and Dev teams
Contribute to the overall success of product releases by ensuring releases are free from major software bugs.
Report issues to project teams in a clear and concise manner, including links, description of the issue, and screenshot or video as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience working in an agile software development environment and tools (like Jira)
Self-motivated accountability and a sense of ownership of the product.
Adaptability and attention to finalizing testing details and duties amidst aggressive time challenges
Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
Great attention to detail and a results-driven approach
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Reliable and Trustworthy
Able to work in a team and independently
Demonstrable writing and communication skills
