Role Summary
As a Product Manager Intern at Sophos, you will be responsible for driving a project directly contributing to the evolution of our Consumer business. You will influence the product roadmap, work with engineering on product, quality, and schedule decisions, partner with marketing to develop go-to-market plans, and communicate to all stakeholders throughout the process. You will research the market and the competition and develop product requirements that differentiate Sophos Home. Attention to detail, a sharp pen, and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into tangible benefits is crucial.

What You Will Do

  • Market intelligence: Develop a complete understanding how customers buy and their buying criteria. Become the expert on your competition, and how to win against them.
  • Positioning: Develop product strategy and feature differentiation to distinguish Sophos Home in the consumer market
  • R&D: Develop requirements documents and roadmaps to define the features and capabilities necessary to win in this market
  • Project Management: Work with the cross functional team on a daily basis to align to the roadmap, keep the product releases on track, and evaluate trade-offs to get the product to market.
  • Partner with Product Marketing counterparts and commercial teams to support the go to market plans (channel programs/promotions, product/service positioning, sales briefs, promotions, PR activities).
  • Communication: Keep the Sophos Home team, senior management, marketing, and support up to date continuously.
