Job Description: Inspirato Internship, Residence Onboarding & Design
Reporting to: Laura Reynolds, Residence Onboarding & Design, Senior Manager
We are looking for diverse Junior & Senior candidates with a strong work ethic and dedicated interest in the luxury hospitality and travel industries. This specific Internship will assist the Residence Onboarding & Design department at Inspirato. The Residence Onboarding & Design department is made up of two teams, one who manages the furnishings and design of our homes (ROD), the other focuses on the structure and function of the home during the onboarding of the home into our portfolio (Asset Onboarding). The ROD will assess, design & onboard the luxury furnishing standard of new installs into the portfolio, as well as manage & maintain the quality life cycle of stand alone homes in our portfolio. Asset Onboarding conducts inspections of the home and ensures the home begins its operational life in the best condition.
The Residence Onboarding & Design Intern will be tasked with priority projects identified by the department leadership team and will be focused on innovating and creating processes and procedures for the department. Ideal candidates will be current students or recent graduates who are detail-oriented, digitally savvy, and driven to provide high-quality work on challenging projects. We are looking for those who have a willingness to participate in a fast-moving work environment while being able to manage multiple tasks and activities simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Residence Onboarding & Design and Asset Onboarding teams to ensure quality and luxury standards are met for Inspirato Residences.
- Manage special projects requested by Residence Onboarding & Design Senior Manager.
- Ensure compliance with Inspirato Service standards and procedures through Lessonly tool.
- Assist with creative ideas and resolutions to address Residence project challenges and opportunities.
- Develop, maintain, and innovate processes and procedures for the ROD departments that eliminate friction to the member and homeowner experience.
- Work with internal partners and external vendors involved in department initiatives including: Accounting and Finance, Portfolio teams, Dossier maintenance, Operating Supplies & Equipment, Furnishings, and AV/IT.
- Running and maintaining financial and satisfaction reporting as needed.
- Support of key hospitality leadership including Vice President, Director, Sr. Managers, and Field Teams.
- Work with RODs and Asset Onboarding team to streamline processes and communications internally and externally.
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies in sustainability in the Inspirato operation.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of staffing metrics database.
- Organize data associated with team growth KPIs.
- General administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled or received a 4-year degree program and entering Junior or Senior year; Hospitality degree or equivalent studies preferred.
- Willingness to learn and passion for hospitality industry.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to think strategically.
- Strong written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
- A strong comfort level to track multiple projects simultaneously and feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated energy, drive, determination and persistence.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Interest and aptitude for design.
- Ability to present information clearly and concisely and respond to questions from various department and levels within the organizational structure.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the organization and to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
- A self-starter with the ability to independently execute tasks with little to no direction.
- Excellent verbal and composition ability, plus a high degree of professionalism.
- Be able to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
Compensation - $16.00/ hour
Benefits – This position is eligible for Inspirato’s 401k program. The company offers a 6% match to those who choose to enroll.
