Literably is a fast-growing education technology company that provides early literacy assessment software to elementary schools. Using our product, K-8 students can read out loud into a mobile device, generating key data for reading instruction that would otherwise be collected manually. This saves teachers enormous amounts of time and drives critical intervention decisions for young readers. We currently serve over 600 schools and 200,000 students and among our customers are several of America's largest school districts, including Orange County Public Schools and Spokane Public Schools.

We are looking for a mid level or junior full-stack software engineer to support the continued growth of Literably's iOS application, web services and core assessment processing system. As an early engineer, you will play a role in both defining the technical roadmap and scaling the system to handle our ongoing massive user growth. We work with Objective-C, Python, Django, React, Redis, and Postgres, but specific experience with this stack is not required. Prior experience operating autonomously and proactively at early stage startups is a big plus. Other nice-to-haves include experience with dev-ops, iOS development and automated speech recognition.
