As intern in our Performance Engineering team, you will work on research projects that drive the next generation innovation for VMware’s future products and work alongside domain experts who are active researchers and inventors in their space. What type of work will you be doing an intern? What assignments or requirements will you be performing on a regular basis?

Depending on your background, interest, and technical alignment to the various areas of Performance Engineering technology stack, you could be working on team projects. The most important item to remember about a VMware as an intern is that it’s all about potential and learning. We want our interns to be well rounded individuals driven to learn new things.

What are skills that would be helpful for a successful internship?

• MS/PhD who is major in CS and focus on Machine learning
• Strong programming skills (Java, Javascript) and scripting skills (Python, SQL, Shell Script)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication and team-working skills
