PURPOSE

The main purpose of this Project Management Intern role is to support Interactive Response Technology (IRT) Project Managers with study maintenance/build activities. This role is non-client facing, but the Project Management Intern will support the Cenduit Project Management Group with study related requests. While supporting Project Managers in important tasks and deliverables, it is understood that the person in this role will begin to learn the intricacies of Cenduit’s IRT system and related processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data changes (50%)

  • Author data change requests based on the study’s or client’s needs with guidance from Project Manager
  • Coordinate the implementation and ensure closure of the data changes
  • Generate data change reports to track trends as required

System Design and Maintenance tasks (30%)

  • Review scope against initial proposal and manage needed budget changes
  • Check progress of deliverables
  • Assist with system quality review (SQR) after the study is programmed
  • Take appropriate actions to resolve the tickets where needed
  • Investigate issues and manage the resolution or escalate to other groups for further investigations – General Tickets, Technical Operations tickets
  • System Change Request support - perform Data Setup support
  • Reconciliation - Interim/study End analysis from Data Management
  • Review study alerts and action or escalate as appropriate

Documentation (15%)

  • Author/review user requirement documents
  • Draft/update study specific user guides, SUSRs , Helpdesk Study Guides and finalize based on PM comments
  • Prepare Investigator Meeting slides, update Communication Plan
  • Update Project Management Plan, record meeting minutes where required

Closeout Tasks (5%)

  • Study closeout Checks
  • Download reports and store in the SharePoint

Adhoc tasks

  • Other related duties as required by business need

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong customer service ethic, always providing excellent service to both internal and external ‘clients’
  • Accountable to perform tasks on-time, and with high quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong team player with ability to work independently
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn a technical system
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Clinical research knowledge or project management experience preferred
  • Experience working in a customer service environment preferred
