What You Will Do:
This role falls within The Resource Group's Change Management Solution. The Change Management Solution sustains value for our Participants through direct end-user engagement, clear communication, and connecting across the organizations we serve through C-suite representation. The communities within Change Management Solution collaborate to elevate resource and supply management ‘from the basement to the boardroom’ through their range of responsibilities.

The Resource Group’s Summer Internship Program is an engaging and fulfilling experience designed to allow interns to obtain a wide range of healthcare supply chain knowledge. Throughout the 12-week experience, interns will work on unique personal projects, collaborate with other interns to solve organizational challenges, and learn new business & professional skills.

As the Deployment Intern you will support the Deployment Community through a fast-paced, rotational environment that exposes you to a variety of projects, clients, and business issues. The Deployment Team implements The Resource Group's supply chain into new Ascension hospitals and participants, as well as supports new Ascension strategies through project management. Interns focus on supporting sustainable financial performance improvement for our healthcare clients or participants through financial analytics, process mapping, deliverable development, and change management to implement initiatives and behaviors that deliver results. Due to the variation in projects and participants, interns must be adept at project management, analytics, operations, supply chain, finance, and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Support complex project workstreams for participants, working onsite or virtually with the client to implement and sustain change
  • Provide analytical support for consulting engagements, focused on non-payroll expense reduction and operational optimization
  • Develop, manage, and present analytical models and dashboards that drive decision making
  • Design and/or refine processes and training to ensure continuous improvement
  • Create client-ready deliverables (e.g. presentations, memos, and other documents) as requested
What You Will Need:
Education:
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience or Associate's degree required.
  • Enrolled in Bachelor's degree program.
Additional Preferences:
  • College Junior Year or Above Preferred
