JOB SUMMARY
Are you a current college student looking to develop your leadership, sales, and analytical skills through a hands-on and fast-paced summer internship program? You should strongly consider this opportunity with the Towne Park Sales Team.

As a full-time Sales Intern, you will be responsible for supporting Towne Park’s Sales Team in helping to develop and update our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and in analyzing and researching prospects affiliated with top Hotel Ownership and Management groups.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary: 
Support the sales team by helping update and improve our Customer Relationship Management Tool 
Research and Analyze hotel ownership and management groups 
Prepares and presents ad hoc analysis and reports to supervisors

Systems and Standards 
Completes all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Finance Manager 
Maintains data integrity and bases recommendations on repeatable, systematic analysis 
Cooperates with senior management and coworkers to ensure that services can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of internal and external customers 
Treats clients and associates with courtesy, respect and dignity 
Maintains a clean, neat work environment

Safety and Risk Management 
Reports all potential high risk areas and safety concerns to the Sales Analytics Manager 
Understands and follows safety and security procedures 
Practices preventative safety procedures as set forth by Towne Park 
Reports all accidents and incidents to the Sales Analytics Manager immediately 
Uses only equipment trained to use and operates all equipment in a safe manner





KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Outstanding teamwork and project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Sufficient level of aptitude with the ability to utilize advanced functionality of Microsoft Excel
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and CRM technology
  • Written and verbal communication skills to effectively address all levels within the organization
  • Ability to represent the company effectively in a variety of settings with a demonstrated understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies, procedures, equipment manuals, training materials, and corporate communications
  • Ability to compose professional internal and external business communications including reports, memos, letters, and e-mails
  • Ability to maintain and protect confidential information

QUALIFICATIONS
Required: 
Currently enrolled at an accredited institution with enough credits to be at the Junior or Senior level with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent on other scales)

Desired: 
3.5 Cumulative GPA 
Business Major 
Experience leading a team project 
