Description
SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Program Management Intern to join our team and begin an exciting and challenging internship with Air Force EITaas EUS. This position is part-time and allows for 100% remote work.
In this role you may perform some or all of the following tasks:
- Support Business Management
- Support the development of strategic, tactical, and operational design and execution of projects with reference to financial support and business operations.
- Organize, analyze, and develop financial products to aid development of plans and orders, and answer information requirements.
- Support Training Management
- Support the development and delivery of training.
- Develop methods for new approaches to training to maximize performance and operational effectiveness.
- Conduct assessments of performance and create tailored plans for improvement.
- Support Quality Assurance
- Provide support for quality management systems, tools, and techniques to improve the quality of services
- Develop plans and programs to achieve and maintain quality throughout the life cycle of services
- Support quality measurements of consumables, expendables, supplies, and making recommendations to be reviewed by government employees
- Support Procurement
- Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Monitors performance of suppliers.
- Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
- Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.
- Support Program Management:
- Coordinate with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
- Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.
- Support Program Control
- Responsible for such tasks as maintaining charge numbers, downloading project costs and commitments, tracking and reporting project status, preparing estimates at completion for small contracts, providing input to sales recognition and sales analysis reports, and performing time and materials rate analyses.
- Support Contracting
- Prepare contracts for closeout and/or set up in Contracts System.
- Review prime contract to ensure clauses are appropriately captured in contract system and loads contract award and modification documents into contracts database.
This internship can either be conducted on a rotation, shadowing three different individuals in their areas of expertise; or it can be a conducted by immersing the candidate in one role, shadowing one individual in their area of expertise.
Qualifications
Required:
- Education: Minimum completion of at least 60 hours of college coursework
- Skills: Computer literacy, Microsoft Office, organization, oral and written communication, teamwork, leadership and conflict management, and critical thinking

Target salary range: $25,001 - $50,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
