POSITION SUMMARY
Velocity Global is seeking a full-time Operations Junior Business System Analyst to join our growing REMOTE/REGION You will be responsible for the analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle. You will ensure that requirements are fully understood by technical teams before solutions are designed and implemented, then continue to work throughout projects to keep them in scope. Your deep understanding of the business will also be utilized to analyze operational data and workflows to drive efficiencies for the Operations team.
This is a fast-paced role, requiring flexibility working with a number of different business units, while being exposed to a variety of technologies. This role is not for the faint of heart as you will be asked to continually solve new problems, learn new technologies, and to make your mark across the entire organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn systems, processes, and business rules used by individual departments.
- Collaborate with all business units within the Operations division throughout a project’s lifecycle to identify and document gaps and/or individual needs.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and documentation.
- Make recommendations for improvements to existing business processes, technical workflows, etc.
- Work with internal and outsourced development teams to ensure business requirements are met.
- Assist business units with creating systems documentation and training materials and facilitate new and continuous technology systems training.
- Set Up, implement, and manage administration for new and current systems.
- Manage and perform user acceptance testing, and provide post Go-Live support.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with an emphasis in business administration, information systems, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience with creating and explaining complex process flows
- 2-4 years of experience creating and maintaining technical specifications and data maps
- Demonstrated success working as a business partner.
- An understanding of business analyst principles, processes, and techniques
- Prior experience managing UAT and training plans
- Prior experience with ERP or CRM systems a plus
- Priori experience using Zendesk a plus
- Comfortable adapting to changing technical environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with non-technical personnel
- Ability to work effectively in a team situation with outsourced development teams
- Understanding of Agile Software Development Methodology a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities related to multiple projects at once and work collaboratively across organizational lines
