We are currently looking for innovative and professional intern to join our team for summer 2022 intern program. Various locations.
Internships include mentorship, soft and technical skills training, and networking to learn more about the SGRE organization and wind industry.
SGRE Summer Intern Program is May 16 – August 12, 2022
Position Overview:
- Completes regular forecasting and planning for a number of relevant indicators (e.g. turnover, production, inventories, changes in inventory, capital expenditure requirements, employee capacities, etc.).
- Analyzes, controls and reports on relevant KPI (e.g. productivity, profitability, capital tie-up, assets), detects and evaluates plan deviations, and derives recommendations for respective remedial measures.
- Performs qualified cost-and-profitability analyses for specific business cases (i.e. product launches, relocations, review of vertical range of manufacturing, etc.) to prepare respective alternative decisions.
- Develops supplier forecasts and determines logistical processes with suppliers. * Introduces and implements logistical requirements regarding material provision and delivery as well as material phase-in/out in the PLM process.
- Plans and controls assigned inventories and stocks (e.g. supply level, planning adjustments, etc.), analyzes inventory changes and develops measures for inventory reduction.
- Analyzes and controls logistical processes (e.g. Cycle Time, First Pass Yield, On-time delivery, KPI of effectiveness, productivity, etc.), in order to detect process weaknesses and to start process improvements.
- Maintains a network and cooperates with all involved stakeholder in the respective processes.
- The intern will have projects for the Americas Region. NAM, LATAM, Brazil
- The intern will have the opportunity to work within our SAP system and advance material categorization process – work with engineering to correctly categorize new or replacement parts, Configuration management – work with planning and the plant to update SAP with correct site turbine configuration for proper part consumption, Work with planners as learning opportunity to understand forecasts parameters and process, Build program to track forecast to actuals – using excel, access, Power Bi to complete tool
- Additional adhoc tasks to support team
Required skills, experience, and education:
- Pursing Bachelor or Master’s degree in school of Business (i.e. finance, accounting, human resources etc.) or Engineering (i.e. electrical, mechanical, chemical, industrial etc.)
- Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.
- Rising sophomore, junior, senior or grad student
- 3.0+ overall GPA
- Advanced computer skills with MS Office (word, excel, powerpoint)
- Solid communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrate innovation and forward-thinking aptitude through previous school projects, employment, or extracurricular activities
- Qualified applicants may be allowed remote working opportunities, based on business needs
