Overview:
The Junior Recruiter will assist the MIOS Recruiting team with supporting sourcing projects and full lifecycle recruiting to Chenega MIOS and subsidiary companies.
Responsibilities:
  • Under the supervison and guidance of the Team Lead:
    • Support the recruiting team with sourcing, presreening and scheduling interviews
    • Recruit proactively, aggressively, and compliantly to fill all positions with qualified candidates in a timely manner to ensure operational goals are met
  • Support multiple types of openings including fully funded and bid & proposal
  • Responsible for assisting the team with recruiting the team requisition load and may be responsible to recruit a low requisition load.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve varying staffing requirements for current positions and future business
  • Maintain applicant tracking system and assist with generating staffing status reports.
  • Collaborate with team to communicate with hiring managers to clarify specific hiring needs
  • Attend job fairs
  • Assure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Act as a backup to the Recruiting Coordinator Position

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3 months of sourcing experience required
    • Government contracting preferred
    • Experience supporting DoD programs in the cleared community at all levels is preferred
  • Prior military experience is preferred
  • The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have the ability to work nights, weekend, and holidays as required to meet business needs and candidate availability
  • Must be organized with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and balance multiple priorities to serve multiple internal companies in a collaborative team environment
  • Must have the ability to handle high stress environments and work efficiently and rapidly, adjusting to changing business needs under the pressure of constant deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel as required. Up to 10%
  • Team collaboration skills is a must - must be a team player
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance
